Mainly to become a guitarist, but then becomes a vocalist, as well. And lets be honest.. He wrote some pretty good damn songs. Songs that got people crying , at that. He wrote most (Prolly all) of his songs about Yuki, as we can prolly all tell. The members of the band (Uenoyama, Akihiko, Haruki) were telling him to spill his emotions into his song a little, as far as I can remember. Just because he wrote songs about Yuki, doesn't mean he's not over him. In fact: Mafuyu is dating Uenoyama later in the anime. MAKING A POINT THAT HE'S PRETTY MUCH OVER HIM, OKAY? Just please stop comparing Yuki and Uenoyama ( My sweet baby's). Uenoyama isn't trying to replace Yuki.
